Your Wedding Happens Once. Your Memories Should Last Forever.

We don't just capture how your wedding looked. We preserve how it felt—so you can hear the voices, relive the laughter, feel the emotion, and experience the moments again for years to come.

Our Philosophy

Your Day Happens Once. Your Memories Don't Have To.

Your wedding day will be filled with moments you planned for - and moments you never could have planned.

The look on your face when you first see each other.

The laugh your friends can't contain during the speeches.

The way your parents look at you as you walk down the aisle.

The hand squeeze before you say, "I do."

The tears. The laughter. The nervousness. The little things happening just outside the frame.

These moments happen in an instant.
And then they're gone…

That's why we believe wedding videography isn't simply about recording your wedding. It's about preserving the experience of being there.

A Photograph Preserves a Moment. Video Lets You Live It Again.

A photograph can be beautiful. It can capture the perfect expression, the perfect light, the perfect composition - a single, extraordinary snapshot of your life.

But life doesn't happen in snapshots.

Life happens between them.

A photograph may show you the moment your father sees you for the first time. A film lets you hear his voice, see his expression change, hear the laughter around him, and experience the seconds leading up to that photograph.

A photograph can remind you of your first dance.

Video can bring the music back.

It can bring back the voices of people you love. The way someone laughed. The words that were spoken. The nervousness in your voice. The excitement in the room.

Years from now, you won't just remember what your wedding looked like.

You'll remember what it felt like.

That is what Lasting Arts Productions is there to preserve.

Capturing a Live Event Is Anything But Simple

There is a misconception that filming an event is simply a matter of pointing a camera at what is happening.

It isn't.

Live events are unpredictable. People don't wait for the camera. Light changes. People move. Someone turns their head. A moment happens on the other side of the room. A speech runs longer than expected. A child suddenly does something hilarious. A bride and groom share a quiet moment that lasts only three seconds.

There are no retakes.

No second chances.

No opportunity to say, "Let's do that again."

That's what makes live-event filmmaking so challenging—and so meaningful.

Our job is to anticipate.

We watch the room. We watch people. We listen. We look for changes in light and movement. We think about where the next moment might happen before it happens.

We're constantly making decisions about timing, composition, focus, exposure, movement, audio and perspective - often simultaneously.

And sometimes, despite everything we do, things simply don't go perfectly.

Because weddings aren't productions happening on a soundstage.

They're real life.

We Don't Expect Perfection. We Prepare for Everything.

People are unpredictable.

Weather is unpredictable.

Lighting is unpredictable.

Emotions are unpredictable.

That's part of what makes your wedding yours.

Our philosophy isn't to pretend that we can control every variable. Our philosophy is to be prepared for them - and to give everything we have when the unexpected happens.

We bring our experience, our equipment, our creativity and our attention to detail to every event.

But more importantly, we bring ourselves.

When you hire Lasting Arts Productions, we're not simply showing up with cameras.

We're investing ourselves in your day.

We're looking for the moments you may not even realize are happening. We're listening for the words you'll want to hear again. We're watching the people you love. We're anticipating what comes next.

Because while you are experiencing your wedding, we are experiencing it through the lens of your future selves.

We're thinking about the day when you are sitting together years from now.

Maybe your children are watching.

Maybe you've forgotten some of the details.

Maybe someone who was there that day is no longer with you.

And suddenly, that video isn't just a wedding film.

It's a time machine.

We Film for the People You'll Become

Your wedding film isn't really for today.

Today, you were there.

You don't need a video to tell you what happened.

You need it for tomorrow. For five years from now. For twenty years from now…

For the moments when you want to remember the people, the voices, the emotions and the little pieces of your life that time has a way of taking from us.

That's why we don't want to simply create something beautiful.

We want to create something meaningful.

Something you can return to.

Something that allows you to hear your loved ones again. Something that lets you see yourselves as you were on one of the most important days of your lives.

That reminds you not only of how the day looked - but of who you were, who stood beside you, and how it felt to begin this chapter together.

The Lasting Arts Promise

We can't promise that every moment will be perfect.

No one can.

But we can promise that we will give you everything we've got.

We will prepare, pay attention, anticipate, and adapt. We will chase the light, listen for the words that matter, and look for the moments between the moments.

And when something unexpected happens, we'll be ready to capture it.

Because your wedding only happens once.

Your memories deserve more than once.

That is the Lasting Arts Productions promise:

We don't just capture your day.

We preserve the moments you'll want to live again.

Two Videographers. One Husband-and-Wife Team.

There is something meaningful about having a husband and wife behind the cameras at your wedding.

We understand that a wedding isn't simply an event to document. It's the beginning - or continuation - of a family's story.

As a married couple ourselves, we understand the significance of the moments happening throughout your day. We know that sometimes the most important moment isn't the one happening in the center of the room.

It's the look between two people.

A parent's reaction.

A nervous laugh.

A hand reaching for another hand.

A friend wiping away a tear.

Those are the moments we are constantly looking for.

And because we work together as a husband-and-wife team, we've developed a natural rhythm. We know where the other person is likely to be. We communicate without having to interrupt what's happening around us. We can divide our attention while still working toward the same goal:

Telling your complete story.

While one of us is focused on you, the other can be watching your family.

While one captures the ceremony, the other can capture the reactions.

While one follows the action, the other can look for the quiet moments happening just outside of it.

Two videographers doesn’t simply give you more footage.

They give us more opportunities to capture the moments you'll want to remember.

Why Can We Offer This for $1,500?

Because our pricing is intentional.

We believe professional wedding videography should be accessible to more couples. We don't want cost to be the reason someone misses the opportunity to preserve the voices, laughter, emotions and memories of one of the most important days of their lives.

That doesn't mean we treat your wedding like a budget production.

It means we've chosen to structure our business differently.

We aren't trying to be the most expensive wedding videography company in Northern Idaho.

We're trying to provide exceptional value without sacrificing the quality,

attention, and commitment your wedding deserves.

We Only Take Two Weddings Per Month

This is one of the most important parts of how we operate.

We limit Lasting Arts Productions to two weddings per month.

That's intentional.

We don't want to spend every weekend rushing from one wedding to another. We want to have the time to prepare for your day, understand your plans, think about the moments that matter to you and give your wedding our full attention.

Your wedding isn't one of dozens of events on our calendar.

It is one of only two.

And when your wedding day is over, our work continues.

We take the hours of footage we've captured and turn them into something meaningful. That means reviewing footage, organizing the story, selecting the moments that matter, working with audio, color correcting, editing and refining the finished film.

The cameras may stop recording when your wedding ends. Our work doesn't.

Professional Production Without the Luxury-Price Markup

We aren't selling you a stripped-down wedding package.

You're getting a two-person production team, full-day coverage, professional audio, professional cinema equipment, aerial capability and professional post-production - all for one price.

There aren't separate charges for filming and editing.

There isn't a surprise post-production bill waiting for you after your wedding.

$1,500 covers the complete service.

We believe that's an incredible value.

Not because we're trying to be the cheapest.

Because we believe couples deserve the opportunity to preserve their wedding without having to choose between professional quality and affordability.

We Don't Just Capture the Wedding. We Preserve It.

Your wedding day will happen once. The flowers will eventually disappear. The decorations will come down. The music will stop. The people will go home. And eventually, the day will become a memory.

But years from now, you can still hear your father's voice.

You can still hear your friends laughing.

You can still see the look on your partner's face.

You can hear the vows.

You can hear the speeches.

You can watch the people you love experiencing that day alongside you.

And for a few minutes, you can go back.

That's what you're investing in.

Not simply a video.

A way to experience the day again.

A way for your future selves—and perhaps generations who weren't even there—to see what that day was like.
